Applicants

We accept applicants who have completed an accredited U.S. Internal Medicine residency program and are either U.S. citizens, permanent residents, have pending permanent resident status with valid Employment Authorization Card, have political asylum with valid Employment Authorization Card, or qualify for a J-1 visa.  ECU Health Medical Center cannot accept H visas.

How to Apply

The ECU Health Endocrinology Fellowship program participates in the National Residency Match Program (NRMP) and accepts applications exclusively thru the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

We require the following application materials thru ERAS:

  • Application
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Statement
  • At least 3 letters of recommendation, including one from the residency program director
  • USMLE and/or COMLEX score reports for Steps 1 and 2 (and Step 3 if available)
  • Medical School Transcript(s)
  • Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
  • Photographic headshot
  • ECFMG certificate, if applicable
  • Medical School Diploma with English translation, if applicable

All In Match Policy

Our program adheres to the “All In Match” policy adopted by most academic institutions, and we do not fill our fellowship positions from outside of the Match.  Details about the “All In Match” policy can be found here.

Interviews

We will review applications between the middle of July and end of August.  Interview invitations and scheduling will be managed using Thalmus.  Our program uses Signals.

Interviews will be held on Wednesday mornings in September and October.  All interviews will be conducted virtually.
